A critically acclaimed global sensation, Come From Away is a musical based on true events immediately following the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. When air space around the world was closed down, dozens of planes were diverted to the small town of Gander in Newfoundland. Local residents overcame language and culture differences to welcome thousands of stranded passengers from all over the world, offering them shelter, supplies, food, and comfort during an uncertain time.
