UNCANNY VALLEY explores the relationship

between a neuroscientist and her subject and asks the question: What

defines humanity? Claire creates Julian, a nonbiological “human,”

one body part at a time, and teaches him how to act “human.” Julian’s

increasingly human-like qualities lead Claire to reveal details about

her past. Using insight from new research on Artificial Intelligence (AI)

and robotics, UNCANNY VALLEY examines what it means to be truly

“human.”
