Auditions for "The Gift of the Magi"

Jim and Della eat potatoes for dinner every night and stuff their boots with newspaper to get by, but everything they want is for each other. They're so head-over-heels in love they can make a cozy home in turn-of-the-century New York with little more than the coins collected in a jam jar. But what's to be done about Christmas? When a strange twist of fate leads the young couple to find the perfect gifts for one another at an unexpected cost, Jim and Della experience the true spirit of the holiday. Classic Christmas carols enhance this sweet and joyful retelling of the beloved O. Henry short story.
