GET INTO THE ACT! Volunteering at Aberdeen Community Theatre (ACT) is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to GET INTO THE ACT! ACT welcomes all volunteers to participate in a variety of tasks such as set construction, costume making, ushering, or fundraising. One of the programs volunteers can participate in is the Young People's Theatre (YPT), which is a children's theater program for ages 7-17. If you have a passion for hammering, sewing, painting, sawing, embroidering, typing, or gluing, then ACT is the perfect place for you to volunteer your skills. Additionally, if you enjoy working with kids, YPT is a great program for you to get involved in. ACT also publishes a monthly newsletter called the ACT Marquee that keeps you updated on all the latest happenings at the Capitol. Volunteering with ACT is not only a fun and rewarding experience but also a great way to give back to your community. Signup to receive emails about volunteering/ushering As a non-profit we rely on the generosity of the community to keep operating. If you would like to "GET INTO THE ACT!" check out the links below or signup for our email list. Join our email list!
